Other members of the Firm include: Bill Johnson - Robert Galler Richard C. Bennett The founding senior partner of the firm is Richard C. Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a Wheeler Scholar at the University of California in Berkeley and graduated from Cal in 1969. After working a year in the construction industry, he returned to the University of San Francisco and attended law school at Kendrick Hall where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1974. He is licensed to practice in all of the United States Federal Courts and California and has tried and/or handled cases in Hawaii, Arizona, Texas, Oregon, Washington and Nevada. "Rick" Bennett has successfully personally handled over 5,000 injury or death cases with awards exceeding $100,000,000.00. He was designated in 1978 as a personal injury/medical malpractice/product liability specialist by the California Trial Lawyers Association. Rick has been similarly recognized by the California Consumer Attorneys, The American Trial Lawyers Association and the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates. He has taught and lectured at several law schools and provided services to train other lawyers under the State Bar continuing education program. He has served as a pro-bono attorney for the Disability Rights Foundation, University of California, University of San Francisco, and the Alameda/Contra Costa Bar Association. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Recreational Outreach Program, United Cerebral Palsy and the University of California Education Fund. |
